Ok, so a little backround before I go into the whole story. I found me a sat smash. In G6. Defender had only 298k energy, and no grav. Huh, you ask? I know, that is retarded. Why not just build the last few and push the button, right?
Well, this just so happens to be the account that everyone has been talking about as Mechanical Engineer's multi.

Notice the duet haul we have sitting here? Yeah, so did I. I had to go hit it again, and that only had 25% chance of winning, but the 3rd go would clear it in 5 rounds, so I was set for the long haul. Went a second time, no dice. Then, just after that, guess who probes me..... yup, Mechanical Engineer.
So, I get to looking, and notice that the defender suddenly shows activity on that planet. Go looking and still hasn't logged in. 3 minutes later, Defender is online, shipping all that duet over to Mr multi. Screenshot follows:
